Mountain Lakes TourThis fascinating tour focuses on the lakes, canyons and waterfalls for which Banff and Yoho National Parks are so well known. It winds along the picturesque Bow Valley Parkway with a short hike up Johnston Canyon where participants walk through a short cave to get close enough to feel the spray of a powerful waterfall. Continuing along the parkway, we wind our way to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise (an ideal lunch stop). From Lake Louise, we travel to British Columbia and Yoho National Park over the infamous Kicking Horse Pass. The next stop is Takakkaw Falls, one of the highest in Canada, where the melt water of the Daly Glacier thunders over a narrow lip. Calgary TourCalgary is the home of the Calgary Stampede, locally known as the "Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth". It was also the host city for the 1988 Winter Olympics. This 3 hour tour takes you to Canada Olympic Park, the site of the ski jumping and bobsled events during the games. It also takes you back in time to the arrival of the Northwest Mounted Police (precursor of the famous Royal Canadian Mounted Police) at Fort Calgary.
